The following age lines can help you select a class.  If you are joining a Teen, Senior, or College level class for the first time you may need to take a “catch up” course.  This is an hour long concentrated private class intended to target the fundamental concepts/movements that you are going to need to work on for a one time charge of $50.   All competition classes are through audition and/or/invitation only and require advanced skills.  Advanced competition levels within each age category are for students that demonstrate particularly outstanding technique within that age group of competition.

Solo's, Duets, Trios, Quartets, Quintets

Would you like to do something special by yourself or with some of your friends for competition?  If you are putting the group together "just for fun" that is perfectly fine, if your goal is to assemble a successful competition group, however, here are some guidelines that we use to assemble such: similar age, levels, commitment, flexibility, strength, execution, stage presence, body lines and personality fits.  If you are serious about competition we can help you assemble successful intensive groups.  Regarding the recital:  Senior solos (for our graduating students that have been with us for 3 yrs or more) are taught at no charge and the Senior Soloist is invited to perform in the recital.  Other intensives: dance solos, duets, trios, quartets, and quintets should not expect to perform in the recital with the following exception-if one of these dance groups should receive a Platinum award they will be asked to perform in the recital, however they will not rehearse at dress rehearsal to save time and this privilege will be limited to four acts and all must be different students to avoid repeats.  If there are more than four Platinum intensive acts the director will look at students that have not yet performed a small act in the recital in the past for first consideration. If a solo-quintet is a vocal performance and earns a Platinum this act may be considered for warming up the recital (pre-show) For team spirit we do require that you must also be in at least one group or production piece for each solo, duet, trio or quartet that you participate in.  I have come up with some reasonable fees below that are available during off peak times.  June and July-anytime and Aug-May anytime other than M-Th 4:30-8:15 pm (those are our peak times).   Sorry there are so many particulars, etc but my mission is to help students reach their goals without detriment to our studio program because we cannot have one without the other.
